Shanthi and John’s family came from all over the mainland, and as far as Canada, to celebrate their union. It was a gorgeous beach destination wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii. When John picked me up at the Kona airport that morning, he was completely giddy with a grin from ear to ear that lasted well into the night. We scouted some cool photo spots and he showed me around before I went over to Shanthi’s room at the Marriott where the girls were bustling around getting ready. Shanthi was glowing with happiness as her cousins helped her put the finishing touches on. I especially loved the bright yellow orchid in her up-do.
The back of this dress on Shanthi was to die for… simply stunning. The girl knows how to work it!
They held the ceremony just before sunset, during that magical hour when the sky glows and everything looks beautiful.

So many people have commented on how great they are and I brag about how wonderful you are all the time!! it was so great getting to spend time with you the day after… The trash the dress pics are my favorite!! It felt so different to be in front of the camera instead of behind it… I was so nervous but you made me feel so comfortable and were so encouraging! I felt so beautiful! Thank you!!
